The Safety officer has complete copy of the SOP related to action to be taken during natural calamity like seismology (Earth Quake). The employees will be striken with instant panic and confusion and may not know what to do next.
If the safety offier trains all the management staff and other employees periodicaly as to what they should do during such eventuality then we can take a control over the situation and avoid unnecessary fatality or injury to employees.
Training and periodic On The Job training will sustain these type of scenario
This has to be incorporated in the appraisal of every employee as per stipulated time.
It can be a sand strom, a tsunami or a tremor (earth quake) at any magnitude level and inferno or major fire.
