Which one is best FTTx or Wireless LAN?

Of course , FTTx much better than wireless for many reasons :

1-It is a passive network, so there are no active components from the CO- or central office to the user ,This dramatically minimizes the network maintenance cost and requirements, as well as eliminating the need for a DC power network.

2-Support more functions than wireless ( Like IPTv , CCTV , Video ....etc)

3- FTTx support speed up100 Mbps

4-FTTH features local battery backup and low-power consumption.

But the FTTx technology more expensive than wireless because it will require installation of new cable sets over the "last links" from existing optical fiber cables to individual users.

FTTX is better than wireless

FTTx is better than Wireless Communication.  It is secure Passive Optical Network System.  It dose not require Active Power sourece or frequent repeater.  Sygnal Loss is also very less so we can transfer data at far more distance without any amplifire.

FTTX Advantages

- The speed and bandwidth is is large compared to WLAN.If we look at the big city, most of them already have deployed their FTTX due to the FTTX is able to carry more data. Most of the corporate premises will consider fiber connection for their system because of the reliability and constant performance. For the domestic user, FTTH also become one of the phenomenon. IPTV and high speed broadband demand are increasing , as the users are fascinated by the download speed and HD TV stream. 

For the disadvantages, I would say the cost for FTTX construction. As it would require road work, trenching, which consume a lot of money. 

FTTx is best and is more beneficial than wireless LAN due to its higher bandwidths, Speed

it's depend on the structure/layout terrain and the capability of customer have.For example, if the customer want to deploy CCTV system without deploy cable/optic, we can provide it by using wireless system.
