Well for sure, But need more clarification on your research areas. Because most research papers are published based on Specific topics or multiple areas of it or it will be focused on regional/ county OR it may focus on empirical and transformational solutions, Becuase when you say HR Trends... It can be very much vast areas, where you need to bring it down towards the funnel approach.
Therefore you need to specify the areas of research or independent or dependent variables at least. Then it will easy to help you in this future. However, you can use CIPD, Bayt and etc to understand pay scales, employee retentions rates and reason and etc. Hope this is helpful.
