Einstein is quoted as having said that if he had one hour to save the world he would spend fifty-five minutes defining the problem and only five minutes finding the solution.

This quote does illustrate an important point: before jumping right into solving a problem, we should step back and invest time and effort to improve our understanding of it.

I've been in that place, you need to start with knowing the reason, some of the reasons:

1- it may be the software which does not accomodate for the customer needs

2- it may be the customisations where a customer does not want to change how they work, and they need a software to mimik the manual process

3-  it maybe the demanding timeline, and the pressure for completing on time

there are plenty of other scenarios, and everyone can be dealt after determining the root cause, and dealing with it

ERP project fatigue, means dead lines are not met and that could be because of various reason like your client is not co-operative type or your team is not asking the right question to get the right answers in first place. trying to provide solutions based on some assumptions will only leeds to reworks and defenitly repeated rework will kill the team spirit inturn leading to fatigue at both sides, client as well as with in team. it is very important for the person who leads the team should be in control and always be on top of all tasks, know the deadlines and have proper plan to make sure the dead lines are met in time, that would give a healthy environment with in the team and client would surely appreciate the same

By good understanding about clients requirements, bulding a rapo with client stakeholders,  diplomaticaly handling the issues during the project (like if you straight away blame client stakeholder, you will loose their support) and agree only for realestic and doable timelines.

Adding to Shilpa quote, project fatigue is usually due to prolonged or "crashed" tasks, in both scenarios human resource will get tired staying longer time with the same deliverable or will feel exhausted from work over load when crash is needed. It is vital to plan the counter actions once fatigue symptoms starts to appear. Risk management plan will be a good starting point to manage fatigue and to put preventive or remedies whenever it happens for instance a joined social activity, a lunch out with the team, a rewarding points whenever crash applied, etc. Fatigue can negatively influence quality in a very simple areas and a good risk mitigation plan should consider it seriously.
