Whenever we say/do something, there is an intent behind it; depending on how the receiver perceives, it will have an "impact" on it. One needs to make sure that these two are tightly connected to avoid miscommunication or misunderstanding.
Tight connection between intent and impact can be ensured by acting promptly. If action is proscastinated after intention is made, abmiguity set-in on what the original intent was and impact becomes remote to the intent.
