Do recruiters value Certificates? Does it show as continuous learning and improvement, and open mind from a candidate?

I have just acquired a Verified Certificate of Achievement for DSx: Enabling Technologies for Data Science and Analytics: The Internet of Things, from Columbia University through edX. So I was wondering if that could be of significance for a position like PMO, Project Manger or BDM in IOT and Cloud, or IT?
