In a regular presentation/conversation around 75% counted is your body language, 18% your voice tone, and 7% the message/content.

So ill leave the speculation for you on how much concentration the recruiter would pay for the body language.

Body language is a very criticla issue therfore 75% of the information they get from you goes from that part.  Albert Mehrbayn is the leader to know more information on this.

It is important in my opinion, but mostly when I see unusual body language that notoriously reflects that something is not really appropriate for the interview setting.

As long as somebody can stay put on his seat, look in the eye from time and time, smile from time and time and, is not playing with some object, I'm ok.

It is indeed important, but I think content of inerviewers disscussion should be rated higher. Intially, for a beginer, it is difficult to keep his body language calm and quite. Even, few person still feel nervous during interaction on the interview baord. As the experience grows up, he/she become more relaxed and expressive as compare to his yesteryears. So, according to me, quality inside the person should be the most important one to judge during the interview.

I guess it depends on what kind of job you are applying for.  I think jobs that require a person who should be outgoing and engaging with consider body language that reveals shyness or lack of eye contact of folding of arms to be important factors, but usually it is not much of a great deal.

Body langauage suck of a woman's posture could be considered important in some cutures, depending on which country you working in.  But generally it should not be a big deal.

a great imprtance is given to the body language of a candidate, actually body langage of a person is directly related to the personality of aperson so it is the body language which is helps a recruiter to judge a candidate.

Body language indicates dynamism and a good communication technique.

It is more important how you say or express rather than what (content) you say.  So, body language and eye contact are  very important and certainly recuiters are convinced when you use body language with oral citation.

Body language play a crucial role in hiring and getting hired, but no one knows what is a ideal body language the HR is looking for, so best of luck with that.
