Bgp is Exterior Gateway protocol

Eigrp,Rip,Ospf is interior Gateway protocols.

frame relay is wan protocol while bgp is an external routing protocol used to connect different isp's for examoles while the others are usually used inside the network of isp to connect different routers and branches
