What do you do to teach writing effectively for elementary level students?

Guided simple composition which may be in the form of filling in spaces with suitable words , the sum of some answers , or putting some sentences in the correct order

We usually start with simple dictations as well as very short essays and expositions of previously read texts.So that helps them to build a basis and go on a more demanding writing such as compostions 

by many ways : 1-making daily dictations for words 2- making them memorizing full sentences in order to know how to construct 3- writing for them samples of easy paragraphs . day after day they will be excellent at writing .

first teach them the pronounciation of alphabets and then guid them how to construct word to jion different alphabets and give them dictation on daily basis.. from beginer give some words after that give paragraphs ..

Make lessons simple and proceed at a pace all students can cope with

Use examples from other forms of media

Make writing fun and exciting

Try basic paragraphs and compositions
