What tools digital marketing companies use to automate their reporting and activities?

Thank you Farook for asking! I think the list could be long and I wouldn’t add much value in providing what is available on the net. However, I think it is important to remind ourselves on the importance of automating and reporting digital marketing activities.

During any business activity, we have to maintain a constant level of productivity and not get distracted with recurring tasks. In digital marketing, it is important to maintain stickiness with our audience and this is done trough publishing content and responding to people interested in our product. It is therefore important to maintain social media activity and automate scheduling processes to distribute content.

This leads to better organization and planning of these activities, and it is important to deliver content as per the target audience expectations in diffusion and regularity (same as with TV broadcast, imagine if a TV show scheduled at: is never on time…).

The various tasks are relative to the goal at hand: campaign management, lead generation, social media analytics, or curation of content. Most of the tools provide similar functions and again the choice for the perfect tool should vary according to the marketing efforts and the target audience.

As an example I was once interested in e-monitoring and social-monitoring to find out what people were saying about the brand, the CEO and our products and industry, hence I selected a platform (Digimind) that would show all the various tones, sentiments (thumb up or down), keywords used and reports were sent to streamline the process before presentation to stakeholders.

you can use Facebook ,Twitter   ,Linked in ,YouTube , google Ad word ads and google display but first of all you need define you target audience and their persona.

Other than the answers already posted, I would suggest the usage of automated marketing applications like Hootsuite and buffer. I personally use Buffer and have found it economically and otherwise feasible as well. It is quite inexpensive compared to Sprout Social and Hootsuite. 

I don't know about other companies but in our organization, we use 'Tableau'. 'Plot.ly', is also an amazing tool for real-time reporting and analytics purpose. You can fetch data through APIs into the Tablaue or Plot.ly system and you can build and customize the reporting Dashboard the way want it to be.

'Watson Analytics' can also build a very comprehensive automated reporting charts or dashboards. 

'Google Data Studio' is also an amazing and simple tool for Google AdWords and Google Analytic automated reporting. It is good for small data...

There are many tools that companies use and over the years I have used many tools over the years but currently I am happy with SemRush. Although there are various tools out there, they differ in functionality and how well they aggravate the data and provide you with a clear picture.

It depends on how you define the Best Tool for reporting; according to your needs and requirements. Raven Tools and Agora Pulse are worth looking at.
