How are insurance claims handled on a partial loss?

    Regarding the insured side he should first notify the insurance company about the loss event immediately upon occurrence .Secondly submit to insurance company the original insurance policy together with all necessary documents that supporting his claim.

Regarding the insurance company when handling a claim first to do is studing the claim and then decide to pay or not depending on the accurance of the claim and the loss event . Secondly may appoint a loss adjuster if necessary , if not the insurance company will pay the total amount of claim to the insured less the policy excess.
