a Stockholder is the party that is investing in the Company's stocks.

a Stakeholder is any party that has any interest in (or affected by) the company's operations, like  vendors, Customers, employees, Stockholders, Ext & Int Audits, banks, legislative authorities, neighbors...etc )

Stockholders are only one component of so many of the Stakeholders.
