There is no such thing as time management, there is self management, do you agree with this saying?

Self Management could be defined as follows:

• managing your time,
• managing your health,
• Managing your investment,
• managing your relationship with co-workers
• Managing your aspiration /long time goal

So, time management is a part of self management

I fully agree with Mr. Fazlur Rahman's excellent & insightful submission. These two disciplines are quite similar but completely different, time mgt is just apart of self-mgt, its a subset of it. Thanx for the invitation

I don't agree with that saying There is an difference between Time Management and Self Management. because Time Management it comes only when you learn self management.  Time Management is the part of self management, When there is no self management, that that person cannot learn time management.

 

Time management is how to do things on time knowing their priority.

 

where as Self management is to know what one should have to do at this particular moment.

Yes, because there is no real "time". You can not manage something that don't exist. Time is a measurement of movement. Your movements and the sequence of getting things "done" is all you can manage.
