How does the flight path look like from Dubai to NY?

actually i don't know but i know NY its so far, so flying from Dubai to New York and see that the route is not a direct route , the plans I see on the net are over Europe ( poland , uk) instead of flying directly over the gulf, Mediterranean

Never been on flight from Dubai to NY... But I think it's not a direct flight...The plane makes a stopover.. I think it takes off from Dubai to Paris, then take another flight to NY
