How would you manage it?
Everyone is deemed here to learn, the same phenomena go with the subordinates. Currently I am Working as IT Administrator under Ministry of Finance. When ever i got any technical training i have fully Delivered it to my Subordinates without any discrimination.
I always preferred advanced systems for my office so that my subordinates can learn as swift as they can.
Subordinates are the internal clients to the company. You need to treat them with respect and fairness as the same way you treat the external clients. And the fairness has to be mutual.
Start with the root. it doesn't matter how knowledgeable you are if your subordinates wont listen. First gain their trust and respect. Be a subordinate yourself. Be an inspiration, someone they can look up to. They will follow you anywhere and take every word you say to heart. Be a leader and not a boss, Don't think of them as subordinates but colleagues.
