Requirements for effective coordination between planning, production, quality and delivery is an overall implementation of the ISO 9001 quality systems, leading teamwork, communicating plans/ procedures/ targets and incentive plan to the production team, ensuring that QA/ QC procedures are applied, continuous monitoring of the production process with adequately formatted reports, coordinating with procurement department and accounts departments to manage vendor deliverables/ issues, participating in quality deficiency issues and closing non conformance, periodic inspections of production quality/ proper storage and materials handling, coordinating with utilities departments for power outages and shutdown procedures and ensuring prevent maintenance if any is done without any effect on production process; implementation of safety standards, procedures and policies during production with full awareness and compliance by working staff
It is essential to make effective co-ordination among these important Departments to perform and execute the manufacturing plan with high quality and then the delivery achievement as planned in time. The main points & requirements which have to be followed to realize this objective as :
1- Good communication tools between each other as each department has to know the time schedule for the prospective products
2- High capability to understand the details of the plan set to achieve the processes
3- Team work spirit is spread and prevalent among all departments concerned to accomplish the goal
