How to size a sewage lift pump, if you have DFU values for intermittent flow systems? as per UPC for continuous flow2 DFU=1 GPM. what about intermittent flow systems?

DFU Measn Drainage Fixture Units.

 

You calculate your total no's of fixture units & then get the GPM assigned to that no from IPC OR ASPE Book or UPC Book. 

to calculate the pump size you need GPM value.
