What is Solo run ?

Solo run is, first step for dynamic checking after all static control procedure , also depending on vendor document for every machine or equipment. under inspection test plane . or method  & also Uncoupled testing of a machine to check on the following:

1. Temperature stability

2.  wheel and shaft alignment

3. Bearing temperature and vibration test.

4. Power consumption

Motor is run decoupled and Motor vibrations are measured in x,y,z directions. Vibration should not exceed value depending upon design parameters like bearing type, load etc. 

With out load testing of Motor is called solo run.
