What is Corrective Action and Preventive Action?

by the way the term of preventive action no longer available in ISO 9001:2015.

coorective action is to set suggested corrective action for NC after being detected and to prevente the reoccurance. so that you have to consider the effectivenss in closing of CA.

while preventive action is to set corrective action before the probelem is occur by running the risk managment and keep monitoring any risks in processes that might occur.

are the actions determined and implemented to solve the NC raised in way a that prevent the reoccurane of it, which are determined according to the result of the root cause.
