What are some helpful practices to increase confidence before presenting to an audience?

To increase confidence while presenting to an audience one should: 

1- Do great research about the presentation topic and be well informed

2- Write down bullet points to remember all the ideas that need to be mentioned

3- Practice his/her speech and repeat it many times

4- Be prepared to answer the questions that could come to a listener's mind

5- Dress up well for the occasion (Formal wear is advised - Avoid wearing garments with flashy colors or revealing items that could disturb or distract the audience)

6- Know the targeted audience and use appropriate and clear vocabulary for everyone to understand

7- Capture the audience attention with a smart introduction

8- Look at the audience in the eyes for them to feel more involved

9- Control his/her body language  

Make sure you know the content well, and connect with the audience. Make it interactive so that you feel less nervous and the crowd doesn't seem like a bunch strangers

2) Rehearse.  Rehearse it again.  And again.

3) Before you go on, go somewhere private.  Stand with your legs apart and take 3 deep breaths in and out: breathe from the diaphragm.   Say, in a loud clear voice, "I am brilliant and this presentation is going to be fabulous."  (Whether you truly believe it or not is irrelevant.

If you drink alcohol, a very small quantity about 15 minutes before can be helpful.  Brush your teeth afterwords.

Practices which could help boost confidence before presenting to the audience would be knowledge and know how about the topic, balanced team on and off stage, and most importantly dedication towards achieving the goal.

You can summerize your presentation into listed points. Recommended to aware your audiance that they can share their ideas by asking questions. Try to get some time alone for relaxing and be calm before beginning.

Planning your delivery ,and making sure your preparation prior to that delivery is ready through presentation notes , equipment needed, practise ,hte way you present yourself by the way you dress , know the audience you are presenting your lesson or presentation to and control you manarisims through not repeating certain phases and maintain eye contact.
