Ownership has a challenge of owing the service- let the customer nove away with something e.g receipts, fliers, files, coupons.

Variability- standardisation may involve working on service provider e.g clear selection of sales men, training & selection may be based on regions where employees come from for branches of service providers.

Perishability- demand mgt should be done

Intangibility- put in place what people can see as representative of the service e.g branding, work on environment, materials to touch like magazines.

Inseparability-use technology to inventory services i.e tapes, DVDs. Flex or dismantle the service provider i.e lecturers moving to other centers.
