When should a brain ultrasound be done for premature babies?

A brain USG for every PB should be done once within 1 month after birth. In case of any brain pathology USG-brain can be repeat every 1-2 months

If there are suspecious of intra-ventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia or in cases such as hyderoecpahlus

If a doctor suspect any Intraventricular hemorrhage,Periventricular Leukeomalacia or cerebral Palsy! There will be a need of ultrasound brain in premature babies
