What is the different between the extensive properties & intensive properties?

 Intensive property is one whose magnitude is independent of the size of the system. An extensive property is one whose magnitude is additive for subsystems.

extensive properties depends on mass while intensive properties do not.

For eg: Volume is extensive.

 Pressure and temperature are intensive
