What is the difference in Sales and Marketing?

Marketing depends on four points:-1- Product whatever like item or idea or service .2- Price of this product .3- Promotion its helping in sales product .4- Physical Distribution it means send the products to the branch sales .so sales is a point inside the marketing so sales  means help the customer to buy what they want, but marketing more completely its serve the customer before and after sales  .

marketing: you tell the customer why to buy you.

sales: you facilitate to him to buy you.

Marketing and Sales can be implied as Planting and Fruits

Marketing the product = Planting a Tree

Market Growth   =  Plant Growth

Sales = Fruits
