What are good online courses for developing team management skills? Or can they be developed only through practice and experience?

There are several on-line courses on “Team Management” offered by different institutes. The one, I completed through Harvard Business Publishing is quite good. It explains the subject through different examples and finally you have to take an online examination to pass and get the certificate. This takes about “4” hours to complete.

You can also have short courses (“2-5” days duration) offered by reputed Business Schools. These courses are also good as you will be working in a team with your classmates / batch-mates and get a real feeling. You can also learn a lot from the experience of your classmates.

After completion of a standard course on “Team Management”, you can develop your Team Management skill further through your motivation, passion, practice and experience.

- There are several online courses are there, but many of them are not authenticated by concerned authorities.. So check first which are the online courses approved by different Countries Authenticating Authority. And, accordingly you can select the course based on your Country.

- Secondly, it is better to focus on Management Consulting Companies, they are well expert in this  job and also working experience on the same field. They can answer all your questions easily from day to day working experience.

Thirdly, Practice and experience make more strength for your Online/ Offline courses, both are good for better result, one is not enough. Thanks
