  • I concur with some of the above answers, you don't want to dwell on the negative parts of your previous job because they will only show how much more unsuitable you are for the current vacant job.
  • Talking about the negatives can only work if you came up with possibly a legendary solution to a particular problem.
  • In my opinion the most important way to talk about your previous job is to use information relevant to the support of the answers to the job you are being interviewed for.
  • Secondly, you don't want to dwell too much on the previous job unless it forms a quantifiable part of a specific answer.

Talk about biggest challenge(s) you have had in your previous job(s) and how you've coped up with it. Be honest/trustful and not exaggerating.

Interviewer is more interested in to listen to what you've actually done in your previous job rather than hearing what you are good at.

From there the show begins, interviewer will find out your behavior and competencies based on actual cases.

Remember recruiter golden rule: past behavior is the best predictor for future behavior.

Positively and honestly, though measured would be the best way to talk about a previous employer.

First of all never say anything negative about your previous company or any of it's employees. Say that your previous company was instrumental in making you what you are today, that you have learnt a lot of positive aspects in the profile you were holding, & you were given enough opportunities for learning & personal growth.

However you would now like to diversify your experience & that's why you are keen to join a new company with a varied job profile.

try to speak with confidence 

also try to increase your tasks and responsibilities even if they r just few ( break them down into mini tasks and try to describe each task with a unique sentence )

say the truth about the reason for leaving except being fired due to bad behavior or bad

personal attitude

show your confidence if you were asked is they can contact your previous employer

Loved working in a Team

Leaving for experience rather than salary

Thinking outside the box (if it was the case)

Do not disclose all information in interview for your previous organization. Only relevant information to perform the job.

The best way is to talk about the good relationship with your team and how they are a great team work ( don't forget to thank your manager for everything you learned from him day by day ), aslo you should to talk about the most creative thing you were did in your pervious job and how you were handle hard work
