If one is able to anticipate a problem, I think it is a prediction and precautions can be taken before the problem actually occurs.
Personally, in my field of work (conference management), problems always occur in the very last minute which could not have been anticipated, and it is important for me to tackle them in a fast, discreet and confident manner, so my participants, speakers and staff do not panic.
some people strong in both but this realated in profession ,either way its important to anticipating problems and fix it before it becomes a real problem .
According to me a person who anticipate a problem well can only deal with that problem by preventing the problem going worse and their by reacting to the problem and solve it
Well, for me this question is interrelated because.only that person can reacts or take step ahead to solve the problem who has anticipated it. if you haven't anticipated the problem well you cant handle it well.
i prefer ( who anticipating problems well ) as he can predict problems before it comes true... as he actually has technical skills and care about data for prior years ,,, and based on that he predicts that some problems that firm will face this present year .... so he cares about details , files ... etc
but who react with problems is required too .... but these problems may affect the firm reputation and lose part of customers and their loyality .... so he mustnot expose the firm to risks . ( its his duty )

Any problem that may affect continuity of a business has to be prior determined, listed and solution should be identified and it’s a mandate for any business. Incase of day-to-day problems that arise while running a business, I quickly react to such issues with my experience or expertise. Often a Manager is judged by the way he or she reacts to such situations. So I believe that the answer for your query is I would like to be a person, who can predict important problems and provide effective solutions and at the same time can handle day-to-day problems.
