Why do most of companies reject sales supervisor if he has 37 years? Most of these companies answer because he's very old for this position. Why?

I dont think its true Question  because i know many people working as sales supervisor , sales manager, even sales executive and they are above.

If It's True then its the big reason " Sales is a field work and field work is hard for old people, that's y they refuse to give them that job.
