What are the possible traits when dealing with people who are not the same culture as you?

I would say, being understanding and considerate plays a very important role. We must try to see where they came from, to understand their point of view; the ability to listen and observe, appreciate their stories and their culture; and being a learner (having enough space/room to learn).
