Should we endorse someone we don't personally know?

If you endorse smb only on professional skills and you dont know his personality you get a big risk for the company.
The Company has culture, different characters, way of thinking, way of dealing with....
You dont know personality - you can hire conlict person for example and then his personal skills will not allow to realise professioanl one becuase he can not cooperate effectively.
Generally in HR pactic usually check first personality and then professionalism.
One person can spoil many processes in the company and it can be a course of many people leave the company.
To check both part is very important: personal and professional.

Why shall we endorse to those, whom we never personally met.
Who knows he is deserving? Means professional enough in the perticular field mentioned.
Best; not to endorse those whom you don't even know personally.

Endorsing is not about knowing persons or just relations between people ,, it 's about deserving and just deserving this Endorsement ,, if you are going to Endorse some one you should do it due to his POSITIVE Interacting with his colleagues in the same profession or due to his POSITIVE interacting to topics to give good questions and answers which are useful to every one and straight to the point ,, These questions and answers Reflect's Person's Experience and Capabilities in Specialties you'll Endorse him in.

If some on is in our Field but we personally does not know him, Then ask some questions and according to the Answers we should act.

that depends..in which area of expertise you want to endorse someone...endorse maybe dosn't mean yes for the job or something..it is from the person know how..you cannot endorse..a sales person to be pilot of an airplane unless his experience from pilot to salesman of an airplane
