This applies to any job seeker and not specific to a region.

You must follow the due process and apply for the position through the correct channel. It is important to review the job description, international job sometimes have specific work authorization requirement. If you do not qualify - there is a chance the employer may not respond to you.

If you do qualify and have not heard back - it would be good to go to an online forum like linkedIN and find out who the HR / Recruitment representative is at that specific employer and try connecting to forward your candidature.

However, do not - most jobs prefer locals and though their specs may not mention sponsorship requirements  - it is implicit and you may not hear back.

All I can say - keep applying and you never know when you get lucky!

Wish you the best

Try to collect the information about the following if you are specific about the work location.

1. Top Companies in the location

2. Standards & Specification (Region)

3. Working Procedures & Methods

4. Learn the basics of the language (Region) which shall help you in communication & better understanding whenever necessary.

This is enough for you to adapt a new working environment and work successfully.

I would say with all the knowledge, experience and certificates you need for some specific area you should learn about the mentality, culture and behavior for this specific region. It is most important to follow all the necessary rules.

If you are applying for any part of the world for a job that means you already know how to get a work permit or already have a work permit in that particular country. Otherwise, there is no need to further discuss this question.

First and foremost important thing is to have/get a legal work permit.

Look for different job boards or professional networking sites like LinkedIn for job search.

Always send your resume along with Cover Letter to differentiate yourself from other.

If a company is offering sponsorship then most important thing is to carefully analyze job description and edit your resume according to the keywords mentioned in the job description.

Once you are done with designing your resume/cv according to the job description and requirements, make sure your resume/cv is computer friendly, by computer friendly I mean applicant tracking system ATS friendly. Because ATS is the one who first screens your cv/resumes for recruiters in today's world. In short a robot screen your resume as per keywords mentioned in job description and requirements. So it doesn't matter how much relevant information you can put on your cv. The more keywords or skills your put the more chances are you get an interview call. (Note: You can bring shorter version or your cv/resume for interview but for ATS it should be detailed, remove header and footers, columns or pictures from your resume keep it simple as you can and it should be in Ms. words documents because most ATS are not compatible to read from other document format or even it should not be less than 11font size because some ATS are also not compatible to pick or read information from the CV that has small font size. Keep such things in mind when you are designing your resume). (Font size should be 11-12 and font type is also important, try to use Microsoft office pre-defined font such as Calibri. Don't make your resume in fancy font because you will suffer a lot. Simple is that don't try to confuse Mr. ATS :)

Once your resume is good enough and designed very well or well documented to pass ATS screening, next step would be to prepare for a phone/in-person/video call interview. Gather enough information about the company to answer the interview questions such as, why you want to join that organization. Find answers to few basic questions such as introduce yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses, What are your greatest achievements. etc.

Let's say your resume is perfect very well written you have all those skills but still you didn't get any response from the employer, simply drop an interview follow-up email after the initial interview. Or you didn't have any interview, drop an email show your interest in the position and highlight your key skills that try match their job requirements and focus on your achievements and experience that why you are the best candidate for the position.
