yes poles effect frequency in generator

f=(N*P)/120

where P=no. of poles, f=frequency, N=speed

Yes, exactly the frequency depends on no. of poles as well as on speed of rotation. The synchronous speed is given by-

                 Ns =120f/P

Where, Ns= Synchronous of machine

              f= Frequency of emf generated and

             P= No. of poles

           Above equation show that poles effect on frequency of generated emf of the generator.

YES/NO EITHER CAN BE AN ANSWER.

IN AC GENERATORS (ALTERNATORS) QUANTITY OF POLES EFFECTS THE FREQUENCY

IN DC GENERATORS, COMMUTATION UNDO THE EFFECT OF POLES ON THE GENERATED POWER AS FREQUENCY OF OUTPUT IS ZERO.

Indeed! Changing Poles in a generator will bring an effect in the frequency too as it is clear from the relation N=(120*f)/p

Yes they Do, please see bellow formula. Frequency is directly proportional to nnumber of poles.

f=(N*P)/120

where P=no. of poles, f=frequency, N=speed

Yes poles effect frequency in generator. By increasing the no. of poles, frequency increases.

f=(N*P)/120

where P=no. of poles, f=frequency, N=speed

 yes because p is afunction of frequancy    Ns= 120F/2P

Yes, in A.C Generator poles effect frequency.

             f=N*P/120

Let’s say if Speed of Rotator remains constant, then by increasing numbers of poles frequency will increase and vise versa.

yes but we have to fix our frequency on 50 or 60 HZ and on the other hand we have to regulate P and N for recieving our necessary frequency:

P=120*f/N

One cycle of alternating current is produced each time a pair of field poles passes over a point on the stationary winding. The relation between speed and frequency is {\\displaystyle N=120f/P}N=120f/P, where {\\displaystyle f}f is the frequency in Hz (cycles per second). {\\displaystyle P}P is the number of poles (2,4,6...) and {\\displaystyle N}N is the rotational speed in revolutions per minute (RPM). Very old descriptions of alternating current systems sometimes give the frequency in terms of alternations per minute, counting each half-cycle as one alternation; so 12,000 alternations per minute corresponds to 100 Hz.

The Answer is yes

as increasing poles  increasing  frequency N=120f/p
