You may want to remember the7 waste of lean as "TIM WOOD":

"Transportation (movement of the work), Inventory, Movement (movement of workers), Waiting, Over processing, Over production, Defects"

There is also the8th waste: Non-used talents.  You can rearrange Mr Tim Wood to become D-O-W-N-T-I-M-E (but you must change "Over processing" to "Extra processing").
