Wich is responsable for the knowledge, the student or the teacher?

Allow me to quote from a renowned Islamic scholar of the early era: 

Knowledge is not measured by how much is memorised, but rather by how much it is acted on. [Imam Al Shafi'i]

In my personal opinion, acquiring knowledge is a process of sacrifice dedication and love for the subject matter. Hence, serious students will understand this intuitively

Both. Teacher for ensuring proper dissemination and student for ensuring perpetuity of the process.

It should be a win-win situation for both the teacher and student. To achieve this, the teacher has the responsibility to live by  his purpose being a teacher which is to provide knowledge, materials & inspiration to the students to study. On the other hand, the student has the responsibility to learn and do his best to understand the lessons.

i think both, because while teaching discussion is very important to encourage their knowledge and respect student difference and ideas.we not only teach but we also share each others knowledge.

For me both -  the only difference is that teachers are givers and students are receivers.So in this way teachers are more responsible. surely students must have to get the opportunity to express their opinion. for this group discussion presentation seminars are the way to provide opportunities to the students to open up.

As far as the answer is concerned, both share equal responsibility in general but depending on the subject matter, one has to work harder than the other to balance the equation.

If Teacher have knowledge then possible to give to students.

The Teacher's ability lies in grasp of the subject to explain to the student.
