As a physician, you shall go through two main steps in general to practice medicine in the US or elsewhere, credentialing and clinical privileging. On initial credentialing, organisations verifies applicants primary sources which include edu. certificates and experiences.
Of a physician meets an organization requirement, he/she will proceed for privileging. After becoming a medical staff ( or a licensed independent practioner), you performance will be monitored thru the OPPE ( ongoing professional practice evaluation).
This is the regular process of physicians hiring and ongoing evaluation in short. Unfortunately, I have no idea regarding the paperwork for overseas applicants to careers in the healthcare feild and good are our credentials for them.
