Are books, worksheets and handouts necessary for teaching English?

Yes, use of books, worksheets and handouts can help in teaching English. Being an English teacher, it has been my experience that teaching English can be revolutionized by the use of these teaching aids. Students can retain grammar rules through practice and revision only, so use of worksheets and handouts can provide a variety of practice.

I believe they are necessary because they have been made with the collaboration of several teachers that have the knowledge and the experience to form each chapter.

Books, worksheets and handouts are some of the tools to facilitate the learning process of English language. More use of tools mean more easy to understand the process and more quick to achieve the goal.

Indeed teaching aids are very much required not only for teaching or learning English, but for any other subjects as well. Cause  one reason is practice makes the man/woman perfect, second one is learning through perceiving things is quicker and have longer memory .
