Why 3D geometry include in Adobe after effect present was too heavy ans ask for more and more cpu and gpu capacity to work?

Basically AE is a2d motion graphics software, and it is specilly designed to worked video clips, bitmap images and solid layers. some of the text ox layer presets contains3 dimensional properties but it is quite heavy presetwe need more physical memory to render those kind of presets.
