Do you believe that social networking/social media channels started with Facebook/Twitter? Or any others?

It depends on the targeted audience. If it was for sharing full article with some photos; it should start in facebook; but if it's just a quick link for an article; the twitter is the best. Whereas Instagram or Pinterest the perfect for posting photos.
