Why do people always have fear from insurance and insurance companies?

Thank you .It seems to me that I have had previous attempt to answer this question or may be a similar one . however I do appreciate your kind invitation and answer your question as hereunder :-

   In my opinion people in our region are not intentionally  avoid insurance due to fear or worry about insurance and insurance companies not to fulfill their obligations regarding claims payments as the practice and experience in this side is completely in the insurance companies favour . Accordingly the following reasons may likely be behind way people not take insurance as priority :-

1) some ignore the benefit of insurance and not have knowledge about the usefulness of insurance to them.

2)The personal budget constraint , this may appear in term of low income to the majority.

3) lack of interest.

With my best wishes, and before that I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I am not a professor and only have Bsc in economics with a considerable experience in insurance and reinsurance majors.

2. In case of a claim, person doesn't get full benefits as per his expectations. So he feels being cheated.

3. Insurance is expensive and you really don’t get anything for it

To the lack of awareness of insurance to see the importance of insurance to protect the property and assets against the dangers and the presence of some error on the performance of insurance companies and proceeded to violate the Islamic religion conceptsAnd it requires a study of the role played by the media in the dissemination of insurance "insurance awareness" culture and education, its significance is important in the development of the insurance industry as a commodity service contribute to the spread of security and tranquility, where the insurance system grew in response to the need of modern societies, insurance coverages, to feel those communities, including face from natural hazards resulting from the movement of modern life, has practiced earlier civilizations insurance one way or another, and we find that Islam has contributed to establish the concept of insurance and solidarity among members of the community and urged its members to cooperate and reparation who appends

People have fear in Insurance and Insurance Companies because this would mean an additional cost without realizing the benefits it has.

Agree with All. Insurance does not give benefits as customer's expectation so he feel being cheated. 

In Business or personal life, taking Insurance is necessary to protect the Business from various risks. This can be done with small amount of premium and large amount of risk is covered. However if there is any claim situation, than there is no fixed rules and regulations to settle the same and is based on discretion of the valuers. This ambiguity in claim settlement creates fear in mind of People.
