How do I learn basic computer skills?

Would be better if you go on formal training in Computer School. So that you can achieve a certificate also that would be useful in your future job application. Try to check in your nearest computer training center if they offer Basic and Advance Microsoft Office Application Training. And of course once your training is completed you have to enhance it by yourself. Keep practicing all the time. Do some research in the net. For you to find out new things. Be an explorer.

You can learn basic computer skills by typing basic words in Microsoft Office programs like MS Word & Excel. Just download some simple exercises from internet & watch youtube and follow the instructions from youtube. Do it as part of your daily activities.

Internet offers a lot of guidance, the next is always "save" file before doing something new; this way you are able to load recovery file.Don't be afraid to try, "what does this icon do? What if I do this?"

A short course is first price, the beginner course,6 months later the intermediate, then advanced in a year's time
