How would you make sure students had equal opportunities in the classroom?

1. Equal assignment given.

2. Group exercise.

3. Equal participation.

4. Learning by doing.

I would arrange the class in teams, assign projects with tasks for each student. That way ALL students get a chance to work on a project. Teams can present their project and get a chance to speak on their assigned tasks.  I did this throughout all of my college years and was surprised that this technique is used in fancy universities...
