<p>People who do not work from home may wish that hey did, why would you want to?</p> <p> </p> <p>For those who have experience of working from home, please share the benefits and downsides of working from home.</p>
In my experience the benefits were:
A flexible time arrangement, I was given assignments with a fixed deadline and so I was given freedom on how many hours I spent on each assignment. the output was accepted as long as it met the employers quality standards.
I felt more comfortable working from my own computer as I am more comfortable with the operating system and the keyboard I use.
I could multi task at will, again I had freedom in the way I perfomed my tasks as my output was the only thing being judged.
The main drawback was that I eventually lost motivation to work due to lack of any workplace interaction. The only interaction I had with my employer was when I was accepting assignments and recieving payments. There was no interaction with any colleague.
Advantage:
- FOR EMPLOYER:
* able to save rental office
* able to save many daily needs for office like :electricity, internet, food supply for meeting, stationary, etc
* FOR EMPLOYEE :
* balance career & life
* work can be able submited everywhere eventhouh in your bedroom or when staff on vacation
* able to save daily needs go to ofifice like vehicle credit bank or fee for public transportation like bus/train
* train yourself to manage yourself because less of monitoring
* without vissa if the staff exactly qualified able to be employee to get dolar from other many countries.
- FOR ENVIRONMENT :
* because less of vehicle in town, so therfore town much better in fresh air.
* forest will not be cut for demand of office building, so wild animal can be growth in their habitat
Disadvantage :
- FOR EMPLOYER :
* not able to communicate directly, it depends on the quality of internet/quota telephone
- FOR EMPLOYEE:
* less of social friend in office
* has to serve good quality internet in home
* must has mobile office needs like google meet, google drive,storage in mobile device
Advantage:
1. Concentration.
2. Flexibility of working hours.
3. more productive because of frequent breaks in work hours.
Suitable for Freelance workers.
Disadvantages:
1. Less productive if there are kids in house.
2. Less social environment.
3. No competition & challenging environment.
