Do you think sometimes it is better that the sales person must deal the customer complains?

" Yes " it is important sometimes, also to keep his eyes around his client in general within his company departments like Finance, Operation, Retail ..etc.
because he can't guarantee that every department will give a high level of service to your client (meanwhile, this thing is not suppose to take all his time as a salesman) but he has to be in the middle between his client and company to ensure best service been provided and the client is satisfied.
I strongly believe this is a rare skill and not available in every salesman.

To improve your bussiness you should listen to customers complains in order to aviod this complines in futrrue , if you ignored it , it may cost you all your bussiness

Yes, its always better if the sales person deals with customer complaints.
its not necessarily that they are resolving the problem but they can act as mode between the customer and the other personnel's resolving the problems.
most of the time sales are done on emotional grounds and because of the goodwill of the sales person and its always important for them to serve there customers after sales also.
this gives customer some trust and relief and also help in customer retention.
like this way customers are never get the feeling of cheated.

Dealing with customer complaints, problems and issues is a fact of life when you sell a product or service.
And every person in sales has certain customers who are more challenging to deal with.
Some customer service situations start as minor difficulties but quickly escalate into huge drawn-out battles.
Unfortunately, many sales people unknowingly cause customer complaint situations to escalate.

`By what means you think sales person must deal with customer complaints...? For Customer service ?? Then whats use of customer service executive .
Everybody has its designated profile of job to do , if sales person has to deal with customer then will he able to satisfy customer .
I think he may not be .
Again he will take help of Service person to resolve issue ,

It is one of the main soft skills the salesperson must be having. But it according to each case whether to handle customers complain or to shift it to the higher level.
