Do you think Guerrilla (Nontraditional) Marketing works in the Arab World, or does the culture implies other procedures to invest in?

During my marketing management experiences ,  I had the chance to observe and to work with Arab consumers . They like to be aware of new ways of marketing ( unconventional marketing , guerrilla marketing , event marketing etc .) but this does not push them to buy the product . I can say that , as a general observation ,  comparing to USA and to Europe , conservative countries prefer most of the time traditional marketing tools and methods .
