It Prepares you well and helps you to have a back up plan or contingency plan in place for Future Disasters or Eventualities and you understand the Lacunae in your Strategy and Plug them in advance
Simply I would say is that disasters always threat to life and if we can survive from disasters than it would be the best thing among the best which we can drive out
