Why the frequency of a.c supply (generator) in airplane ,submarine & radar is 400 hz not 50 hz?

1.If frequency increases speed increase.Ns=120f/p.

2.If frequency increases,size and weight of Transformers and alternators can be reduced.

3.400Hz is the best compromise of equipment size and weight than any other high frequency.So400HZ is used in aircrafts and submarine.
