Since we have great senior developers in the arab world, why we failed to create something huge similar to facebook, twitter or instagram?

If we learned how separate Religion and work then maybe we can get somewhere. Muslims have contributed to civilizations of the world during the Dark Ages and since "extremists" took control it has been hard to keep advancing. I would also say that for the same reasons women cant drive in Saudi Arabia would be the same reason we cant develop our own social networks. Dont mean to offend anyone but let the truth be told.
