Who was the world's first female telephone operator?

Emma Mills Nutt was the first female operator. She started working in Boston Telephone Dispatch Company, USA on 1st September, 1878.

I'm sure there could have been another person before but the one I heard of what Nutt, I think Amy or Emma Nutt.
