What the other solation for Restore point in Windows Server 2008 R2?

the backup feature & u can use the win server backup tool or a third party like symantec backup tool. (i prefer symantec tool because it gives u more facilities than win server tool)

There is no Restore Points feature in the Server2008. But you can use a powerful feature called “Windows Server Backup", this can be enabled/ installed using Server Manager->Role-based->Windows Server Backup Feature. This will backup your server incuding C drive. You can also have scheduled backups which acts similar to Restore point
